The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop from Friday, May 9 reveals Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will issue an order to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Also coming up, Claire Newman (Haley Erin) will be stunned by Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) turnaround. Plus, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will advise Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) to return to Marchetti. And Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be livid.
Y&R spoilers tease Chloe will freak out on Chelsea for not even giving her a heads up that she was quitting Marchetti. She’ll say she walked into work and found out both she and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) had jumped ship.
“I’m sorry you felt left in the dust,” Chelsea will say. Then she’ll add she was afraid of what Chloe might say. “Why?” she’ll reply. “I supported you when you wanted to move in with Adam.” Chelsea will apologize and say she should have given her a heads up.

Then Chelsea will complain about Victor’s interference and how he’s using the company to get revenge on his enemies. She’ll admit she never thought about the possible negatives. “It’s not too late to turn back,” Chloe will reply. But Chelsea will say needs to find a way to make it work.
Meanwhile, Claire will tell Kyle she’s going to tell Victor they’re moving in together. Kyle will say he wants to go with her but she’ll say she’s going to have her grandmother with her for backup.
At the ranch, Nikki will tell Victor whatever he has planned to do to Kyle, please don’t do it. Then she’ll say before things get out of hand, she needs him to be prepared. “Prepared for what?” he’ll ask. So, she’ll tell him Claire and Kyle are in love. “It’ll pass,” Victor will tell her.
Nikki will say Claire wants this and there’s nothing he can do to stop her. “I do not want Claire to get any closer to Kyle Abbott, end of story!” he’ll exclaim, just before Claire walks in. She’ll sit down and say she has news. She and Kyle are moving in together.
But Nikki will tell her she and Victor were talking and it might be a good idea if she slowed things down a bit. “I though we were on the same page?” Claire will reply. Victor will say Kyle wants to pull her away from their family into his. “And I’ll be damned if I allow that.”
Claire will say it’s not fair to ask her to choose a side. So, Victor will ask if she’s moving into the “decrepit Abbott mansion.” But Claire will say Adam has agreed to sell them his apartment and she’ll ask for Victor’s support. However, he’ll tell her he’s disappointed in her choices. “I’ll take care of this, don’t you worry,” The Mustache will say, as he leaves.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Kyle Thinks Victor Will Quash The Sale
So, Nikki will ask Claire if it was her idea to buy the apartment. She’ll say no, but it’s what she wants to do. Nikki will say it sounds like she might not be ready and Claire will tell her Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) asked the same question. But she’ll reiterate that she is ready to move in with Kyle.
As for Kyle, he’ll head to Jabot and will be distracted when Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) starts to talk about the presentation they’re working on. He’ll tell his father he feels guilty that Claire has to fight this Victor battle by herself. Jack will say she may be able to turn him around.
But Kyle will tell him he knows what Victor’s like and he’s not going to give this up, as Victor walks into Jack’s office. Jack will tell him to leave. “Kyle Abbott, you will abandon the idea of living with my granddaughter and you will not buy my son’s apartment!”
Kyle will tell him he can’t dictate their lives. But Victor will say he’s through playing games. “This is the end.” Kyle will ask or what. “You don’t want to find out,” Victor will reply and storm away. So, Kyle will take off and meet Claire at the park. He’ll tell her Victor’s going to try to quash the deal for them to buy Adam’s place.
Finally, Adam will make some calls about Aristotle Dumas. But his contacts can’t find anything on the mysterious business man. Then Victor will walk in and ask if he agreed to sell his condo to Claire and Kyle. “Why does it matter who I sell my apartment to?” Adam will ask.
“Son, you know exactly how I feel about the Abbotts!” Victor will reply. “I can’t stand them and I don’t want that boy involved with my granddaughter.” Adam will say money is money and the apartment is empty. But Victor will say he wants him to back out of the deal, or else.
